The Annual Election Period, also called Medicare Open Enrollment, runs from October 15th through December 7th each year. During this period, you may be able to:
• Switch Medicare Advantage plans
• Switch between Medicare Advantage and Original Medicare
• Join, drop, or change Part D coverage
Changes generally take effect January 1 of the following year.
